Inner Life Transitions Lead to Eternal Reward

Sitting with the Lord…

Sitting with the Lord in these wee hours of the morning and pondering the various transitions I’ve gone through in my life. I’ve always found transitions to be a very difficult process. Not so much because of the adjustments in my outer life that I have to go through but because of the adjustments in my inner life that are required. Transitions in my outer life may require relocating to a new location, a new environment, letting go of or making new relationships. All things that I can control in some way for the most part. However, inner life adjustments are a whole other story and so out of my control. Transitions in my inner life require dying to long held perceptions, ingrained attitudes and selfish desires. Transitions in my inner life require me to grow up repeatedly. Transitions in my inner life require me to open my mind to new thought processes and to believe on a higher plane. Transitions in my inner life require painful soul searching and expansion of my spirit to embrace supernatural strength to make it through. All things out of my control requiring me to deny self, crucify flesh and trust in a Power greater than me. That Power that makes all things new in His time. That Power that transforms us into His image. That Power that paid a high price so that our ultimate inner life transition will result in living with Him for all eternity. That Power – His name is Jesus!

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Sharing morning musings. Remember to embrace our inner life transitions. Trust the Lord through the transformational process.
